How This Works

I maintain a small, selective client base of people who appreciate straightforward, reliable care without fuss. This isn’t about white-glove service or being on-call 24/7 – it’s about mutual respect and practical property care.

I travel by car along established routes (UK-France-Spain), making properties along these corridors particularly economical. Special detours are possible but reflect the true travel costs.

Investment

Standard daily rates: £50-75 depending on requirements
Minimum booking: £300
Significantly reduced rates for longer sits
Properties on my regular routes receive preferential rates
Remote locations: travel costs apply

Russell did a long (7 week) sit for us this summer and did a fantastic job. The cat seemed to love him and was very contented when we got back. Russell was easy to get along with and was very flexible, kindly agreeing to prolong his stay at the end to fit with our revised dates. He provided updates and liaised re post which arrived, any issues relating to the house etc. efficiently and without any fuss. The house was immaculate when we got back and the plants both in the greenhouse and outside are all thriving. I can't recommend him highly enough and we would not hesitate to use him again.

Rusty was able to step in and visit at very short notice and gave us his decision promptly. It was definitely the right decision. Russell and Ibi did a fantastic job at looking after my 3 cats. I could not fault them in anyway. I wasn't able to be there when they arrived but they followed all my instructions about the cats and their habits perfectly. I came home to 3 perfectly content felines, a wonderfully clean and tidy house with the fire lit and dinner cooked for me. They had also very helpfully mowed the lawn so I didn't return to a jungle! I would thoroughly reccommend Russell and Ibi as housesitters and would definitely invite them to sit again if the situation arose.

Both Russell and Ibi took everything in their stride and immediately 'connected' with Tenzing. Russell kept in touch throughout the sit, sending many pictures of Tenzing and our flowering garden, which was very special since we missed all the bulbs coming up this spring! Russell and Ibi were also very flexible with the sit and helped us out further by staying some extra days at the end of the sit, for which we were obviously very grateful. They were both friendly, helpful and very trustworthy pet and house sitters.

They were both attentive and committed in caring for my two cats and my naughty, energetic puppy, consulting me during my absence about ways to make the animals' lives better during the winter. The house was sparkling clean when I came home, cleaner in fact than when I left (though I thought I had left it very clean). Russell stayed in touch regularly and followed my welcome guide to the letter. And the evening of my return, they even prepared a lovely dinner and had bought some of my favourite foods. I couldn't have asked for more.

We'd made notes for him but kept thinking of additional things whilst having supper. He took it all in and was unfazed by any of it.
