For experienced sitters

Paid Housesitting: The Next Step

You've done the work. Built the experience. Earned the reviews. Free-exchange got you here. Now you might be ready for something additional: the option to get paid for your expertise.

Why add paid work?

Sustainability

Living costs don't stop because you're housesitting. Travel between sits costs money. Some paid work helps make it sustainable.

Choice

When you can charge, you can be selective. You're not scrambling to fill every gap. Let the right opportunities come to you.

Recognition

After dozens (or hundreds) of sits, you've developed real expertise. Paid work reflects that.

Flexibility

Use free-exchange for amazing locations. Use paid work when income matters more than destination. Best of both.

Related: why experienced sitters go paid

Free-exchange + paid = complementary

This isn't either/or. Most experienced sitters do both:

Free-exchange (THS, Nomador)

  • • Great locations you want to experience
  • • Building more reviews
  • • Meeting new homeowners
  • • Keeping platform profiles active

Paid (Reputable Sitters)

  • • When you need income
  • • Longer stays where stability matters
  • • Homeowners who want to pay for experience
  • • Repeat clients who book you directly

The platforms are where you build experience. Reputable Sitters is where you monetise it.

What you need to join

This isn't for everyone. We're specifically for sitters who've put in the time:

  • 20+ verified reviews from your GDPR data export
  • Verified profile ownership
  • Published rates – you decide what you charge

For paid work, we also recommend a written agreement covering responsibilities and rates.

What it costs

Founding Members (first 75): £99-£189 total, lifetime listing.
Standard: £279/year or £599 for 5 years.

All prices include Reputable Profiling — genuine curation of your experience, not just verification. No commission on bookings. No percentage of your earnings.

Your profile is yours, your reviews are yours. See current housesitter rates by region.
